The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is the only federal holiday observed as a national day of service, and takes place on the third Monday in January each year. This is a day Emerging Lotus, Inc provides a community service to encourage residents to volunteer to improve their communities, and move closer to Dr. King's vision.
